Applications are invited to fill the following posts on contract basis in
Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited.
1.Assistant Public Relation Officer : 01 Post
2.Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) : 10 posts
3.Assistant Engineer (Environment) : 01 post
Last date for receipt of applications : 20.11.2008
Remuneration:
For these categories fixed monthly remuneration of Rs. 16000/- shall be paid
for the first year, thereafter, a fixed remuneration of Rs. 20,000/- shall be paid on
satisfactory performance for the next three years.
Allowances:
TA & DA will however be paid when on tour as per entitlement of equivalent
post. HRA/ House Lease/ Medical Reimbursement/ Vehicle Allowance will be paid
as per company rules for equivalent post in addition to this.
Personnels appointed in Kashang, HEP and Shongtong-Karcham HEP will be
paid upto 25% of the monthly salary extra as difficult area allowance. This amount
will be paid by calculating a daily rate by dividing the 25% monthly amount by 30
and will be paid only for the days; the personnels actually spends on the project
site/project area. No difficult allowance will be paid on leave or on tour outside the
area.

• Age and Reservation shall be followed on the State Govt. Pattern.

Demand Draft of Rs. 100/- for General Category and Rs. 25/- for Reserved
Categories made in favour of Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited payable
at any scheduled bank at Shimla.
