Candidate working in a PSU / Govt. Organisation must have worked for minimum 2 years in one level below post.
JOB KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENT
The candidate should have 20 years experience preferably in an Engineering Consultancy/EPC Organisation, out of which atleast 10 years experience in various aspects of Business Development and should be fully conversant with all aspects of Business Development/Tendering activities such as Market Intelligence, Development &
Implementing Business Development Strategies, Business Generation, Development of Clientele Basis,
Technology Tie-ups, Preparation of Proposals, Discussions/Negotiations with Clients, Drafting/Finalisation of Contracts/Agreements for Engineering Consultancy Services & LSTK Projects in the field of Fertilizer, Chemical, Refinery, Oil & Gas, etc. The position also requires leading a team of officials at various levels of Business Development Department from the front and keep the team motivated.
JOB KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENT
3.1 MECHANICAL
The candidate should have experience in at least one of the following areas:
a) Piping : Generation of Plot Plan, Equipment Layout, Piping General arrangement drawing, Supporting, Civil scope, Isometric drawings, Supports schedule, Spring Schedule shall be considered for Design Engineers. Exposure in 3-D Modelling & Stress Analysis on CAESAR II will be an additional advantage.
Experience in Piping Specifications, Piping MTO, Procurement of Piping materials are desirable.
b) Pressure Vessels : Manual/Computerised Mechanical Design of Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Towers, Storage Tanks, Bullets etc. Working experience with software like PV Elite, PVE5/ TEMA/ BJAC etc. Additional knowledge of Finite Element Analysis is desirable. Knowledge of various codes and standards, particularly ASME Section VIII Div-1 & 2, HEI, TEMA, API 620 & 650 etc. Preparation of Equipment Specifications, Enquiry Specifications of Items / Equipment, Evaluation of Technical Bids, Purchase Order & Cost Estimation. Checking of Vendor’s Mechanical Design Calculations & Fabrication Drawings. Exposure on Plant trouble shooting is preferred.
c) Pipeline : Experience in the cross-country Oil & Gas pipeline projects and should have :
• Knowledge of Performing Cross-country Pipe line Design / Drawings by using engineering Software like
Autopipe+, Ceaser II, Microstation and PDS modeling etc.
• Extensive knowledge of pipeline codes ASME-B31.4 and ASME-B31.8 is required.
• Knowledge of international /national codes like ASME, API, NACE, OISD, MSS, BS, DIN, ASTM & IS codes etc.
• Experience in Material selection, development of Cross-country Oil & Gas Pipelines / Piping system.
• Preparation of DFR & BOQ etc.
• Preparation of Tender Specification, Offer evaluation and Technical Recommendation.
• Familiar with online compressor facilities, Cathodic protection, dispatch & receiving terminals and SCADA System.
d) Machinery: Knowledge of API, PTC, ASTM 7 Engineering Standards pertaining to Pumps, Compressors, Turbines, Fans & Blowers etc. Preparation of Technical Specifications of machinery items and knowledge of Procurement Procedure. Evaluation of Technical Bids, Preparation of Purchase Order, Checking of Vendor’s Drawings/Documents, Cost Estimation exposure on Plant trouble shooting is preferred.
3.2 INSTRUMENTATION
Sizing of Control Valve, Safety Valve and Flow Elements, Enquiry Specification for Field Instruments, Receiver Instruments, DCS, PLC, ESDS and Erection Materials, Control Room Layout, Equipment Layout inside Control Room, Logic diagram.
Exposure to work on Instrumentation Software like INTOOLS & CONVAL etc. is desirable.
Knowledge of MS Office and Database Management software is essential.

5.2 COMPUTER SCIENCE /SCHEDULING MONITORING/ INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY :
The candidate(s) should have experience in hardware and systems support or software in the areas shown
below:
a) Hardware and Systems Support:
Experience in maintaining and supporting windows based desktop systems and peripherals, networks (LAN), Server Administration (Win 2K3/ Win 2K8 server, Exchange Server 2007, SMS 2007, ISA 2006, NAS/SAN Server), deployment of software, patches updates.
b) Software:
Real time experience in engineering industries having good exposure to software development for piping bill of materials, codification of piping standards, SOR for construction, etc. Exposure to PDS database shall be an added advantage. The candidates should possess a good knowledge of piping standards and hands on experience in development of software for Piping. A good exposure to VS.NET and exposure in other areas such as Database Management Systems (Oracle, SQL Server), Web technologies, Visual Studio.net will be desirable.
PROJECT SCHEDULING & CONTROL :
Project Scheduling, Monitoring, Cost Control & Progress Reporting of Engineering Projects for Design Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning activities in fertilizer/ chemical/ oil and gas/ refinery & petrochemical projects. The candidates should be computer savvy and must possess hands on experience of MS Project / Primavera software and its applications. A good knowledge of project deliverables at different phases during project execution cycle is essential.
JOB KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENT
Preparation of Drawings on latest version of AUTO CAD, 3-D Modelling in respect of above discipline & well versed in Auto CAD / PDS.

1. All candidates should have a basic knowledge of working in Computers, MS Office and relevant
specialized software.
