DIRECT RECRUITMENT
Applications are invited in prescribed Form from the eligible citizens of India for selection of candidates for the under mentioned posts under the Government of Tripura :-
ITEM NO.:- 01 = PRINCIPAL, TECHNICAL (ENGINEERING) DEGREE COLLEGE, GROUP-A GAZETTED UNDER THE EDUCATION (HIGHER) DEPARTMENT- (1 (one) UR post). Scale of Rs. 18,400-500-22,400/- plus admissible allowances.(Revised AICTE pay scale, 1996) subject to revision by the State Govt. from time to time. (minimum to be fixed Rs. 19,400/-). EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :- Essential : (i) Ph.D Degree (with first class Degree at Bachelor’s or Master’s level). (ii) In addition the candidate should be an eminent person in the field. (iii) 15 (fifteen) years experience in teaching/Industry/Research out of which 5 (five) years must be at the level of Professor or above in Engineering/Technology. AGE :- Maximum 50 years as on 15.12.2008. Relaxable by 5(five) years in case of SC/ST/PH candidates and Govt. servants.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE FOR CANDIDATES FROM INDUSTRY AND PROFESSION :-
Candidates from Industry/Profession with Mater’s Degree in Engineering/Technology and with professional work which is significant and can be recognized as equivalent to Ph.D Degree and with 15 (fifteen) years experience on which at least 5 (five) years should be at a senior level comparable to that of Professor would also be eligible. DESIRABLE:- Administrative experience in a appropriate position.
ITEM NO.:- 02 = PROFESSOR, TECHNICAL (ENGINEERING) DEGREE COLLEGE, GROUP-A GAZETTED UNDER THE EDUCATION (HIGHER) DEPARTMENT-{14 (fourteen) (SC-3 & ST-4) posts} Scale of Rs. 16,400-22,400/- plus admissible allowances .(Revised AICTE pay scale, 1996) subject to revision by the State Govt. from time to time in the following subjects/branches :-
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :- (a) FOR TECHNICAL TEACHING POST :- (i) Ph.D Degree with the first class Degree at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology. (ii) 10 (ten) years experience in teaching/Industry/Research out of which 5 (five) years must be at the level of Assistant Professor and or equivalent.
(b) FOR CANDIDATES FROM INDUSTRY AND PROFESSION :-
Candidates from Industry/Profession with Mater’s Degree in Engineering/Technology and with professional work which is significant and can be recognized as equivalent to Ph.D Degree and with 10 (ten) years experience on which at least 5 (five) years should be at a senior level comparable to that of an Assistant professor would also be eligible.
(c) FOR TEACHING POST IN HUMANITIES AND SCIENCES :-
(i) Good academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA at the Master’s level and Ph.D Degree in appropriate Branch of Humanities and Sciences. DESIRABLE :- Post Doctoral work in appropriate branch of Humanities and Sciences.
(ii) 10 (ten) years experience of which at least 5 (five) years should be at a senior level comparable to that of Assistant Professor in Post Graduate Teaching and/or experience in research at the University/National level Institutions including experience of guideline research at Doctoral level.
AGE :- Maximum 50 years as on 15.12.2008. Relaxable by 5(five) years in case of SC/ST/PH candidates and Govt. servants.
ITEM NO.:- 03 = ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, TECHNICAL (ENGINEERING) DEGREE COLLEGE, GROUP-A GAZETTED UNDER THE EDUCATION (HIGHER) DEPARTMENT-{21 (twenty one) (SC-4 & ST-6)} posts. Scale of Rs. 12,000-18,300/- plus admissible allowances .(Revised AICTE pay scale, 1996) subject to revision by the State Govt. from time to time in the following subjects/branches
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :- (a) FOR TECHNICAL TEACHING POST :- Ph.D Degree with the first class Degree at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology with 3 (three) years experience in Teaching/Industry/Research at the level of Lecturer or equivalent.
OR
First class Degree at Master’s level in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology with 5 (five) years experience in teaching/Industry at the level of Lecturer or equivalent. Such candidates will be required to obtain Ph.D Degree within a period of 7 (seven) years from the date of appointment as Assistant Professor.
(b) FOR CANDIDATES FROM INDUSTRY AND PROFESSION :-
Candidates from Industry/Profession with first class Bachelor’s Degree/first class Master’s Degree in appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology and professional work which is significant and can be recognized as equivalent to Ph.D Degree and with 5 (five) years Industrial/Professional experience would also be eligible.
(c) FOR TEACHING POST IN HUMANITIES AND SCIENCES :-
(i) Good academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA at the Master’s level and Ph.D Degree in the relevant subject.
(ii) 5 (five) years experience in Teaching and/or research excluding the period spend for obtaining the Degree’s and has made some mark in the areas of Scholarship as evidenced by qualify of publications contribution of educational innovation, design of new courses and curriculum.
AGE :- Maximum 45 years as on 15.12.2008 . Relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST/PH candidates and Government servants.
ITEM NO.:- 04 = PRINCIPAL, REGIONAL COLLEGE OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION, PANISAGAR GROUP-A GAZETTED UNDER THE EDUCATION (YOUTH AFFAIRS & SPORTS) DEPARTMENT-{1 (one) pmt. post (open to all)}. Scale of pay of Rs.16,400-450-20,900-500-22,400/= plus admissible allowances (the existing Principal, if any, in the scale of Rs.12,000-18,300/= shall not be entitled to the scale of Rs. 16,000-22,400/= unless fulfils the requirement of this Recruitment Rules). ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION :- (i) A Master’s Degree in Physical Education with at least 55% of marks of B in the 7 point scale with letter grades O,A,B,C,D,E & F at Master’s Degree in Sports (MS) from an Indian University or an equivalent degree. (ii) Ph.D. or equivalent qualification in the field of Physical Education / Sports. (iii) Total experience of 15 years of teaching / research in University / College and other Institution of Higher Education in the discipline of Sports. DESIRABLE :- (i) The candidates should be an eminent personality in the field of physical Education.. (ii) Administrative experience in responsible position. RELAXATION ALLOWED:- (i) A relaxation of 5% may be provided from 55% to 50% of the marks at the Master’s level for the SC/ST category. (ii) A relaxation of 5% may be provided from 55% to 50% of the marks to the Ph.D. Degree holders who have passed their Master’s degree prior to 19th September, 1991. AGE :- Maximum 50 years as on 15.12.2008. Relaxable by 5(five) years in case of SC/ST/PH candidates and Govt. servants.
ITEM NO.:- 05 = PRINCIPAL, INSTITUTE FOR SPEECH & REHABILITATION FOR DEAF & HARD OF HEARING CHILDREN, ABHOYNAGAR, GROUP-A GAZETTED UNDER THE EDUCATION (SOCIAL WELFARE & SOCIAL EDUCATION) DEPARTMENT – {1 (one) (open to all) post}. Scale of pay of 10000-300-15,100/= plus admissible allowances .EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :-Essential :-(i) Graduate of Recognized University (ii) Successful completion of one academic year training in education of the deaf & hard of hearing children & speech rehabilitation conducted by the Indian Statistical Institute, Calcutta or any other recognized Institution (iii) Practical experience of work for at least 5 years in any institution of deaf & hard of hearing children having residential educational facilities. (iv) Knowledge of Bengali/Kokbarak. DESIRABLE :- Master’s Degree of a recognized University. AGE :- Maximum 37 years as on 15-12-2008. Relaxable by 5(five) years in case of SC/ST/PH candidates and Govt. servants.
ITEM NO.:- 06 = DEPUTY DIRECTOR, GROUP-A GAZETTED UNDER THE EDUCATION (SOCIAL WELFARE & SOCIAL EDUCATION) DEPARTMENT-{1 (one) tmp. (UR) post}. Scale of pay of 10000-300-15,100/= plus admissible allowances subject to revision by the State Govt. from time to time. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :-Essential :-(i) Master’s Degree of a recognized University or equivalent. (ii) At least 5 (five) years experience in the field of Social Education & Social Welfare, in case ST/SC candidates experience may be relaxed. DESIRABLE :- Knowledge of Bengali/Kok-Borak. AGE :- Maximum 37 years as on 15-12-2008. Relaxable by 5(five) years in case of SC/ST/PH candidates and Govt. servants.
ITEM NO.:- 07 = DEPUTY COMMISSIONER, GROUP-A GAZETTED UNDER THE EDUCATION (SOCIAL WELFARE & SOCIAL EDUCATION) DEPARTMENT-{1 (one) tmp. (UR) post}. Scale of pay of 10000-300-15,100/= plus admissible allowances .EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :-Essential :-(i) Master’s Degree in Social Science from a recognized University/Institutions or Bachelor’s Degree in Law from recognized University/Institutions. DESIRABLE :- (i) 5 (five) years working experience in the field of Legal/Disability matters, in any Government Institutions. (ii) Knowledge of Bengali/Kok-Borak. AGE :- Maximum 37 years as on 15-12-2008. Relaxable by 5(five) years in case of SC/ST/PH candidates and Govt. servants.
RESERVATION FOR ST/SC IN ITEM NOS. 02 &03.
The reservation is over all and there is no subject / branch-wise reservation.
As per Provision contained in the Reservation Act / Rules, Posts can not be segregated discipline-wise / branch-wise from the cadre strength for identification of particular post for a particular category of candidates against a discipline / branch.
The best of candidates among various disciplines will be selected against unreserved posts on the basis of over all merit of the candidates. Reserved category candidates will be selected on the basis of over all merit of the candidates against vacant posts available for them as per reservation policy.
(3). The number of posts to be filled up is subject to increase or decrease following requirement of the Department.
(4) The last date of receiving application is 15.12.2008.The application received after the closing date will not be entertained.
(5). Prescribed Form availability: The 4(four) pages printed application Form will be available from any of the total 105 Nos. of Branches/Extension counters of Tripura Gramin Bank located at different places of Urban and Rural areas in the State of Tripura on deposit of the prescribed Recruitment Fee through the Special Deposit Slip to the Account No. 14711 in favour of the Secretary, T.P.S.C. in the same Branch / Extension counter as a single window system without any extra charge/Commission from the candidates.
For the candidates outside of the State, the said prescribed Form can also be down loaded from the Website http://www.tpsc.gov.in or http://www.tripurainfo.com and in that case, the Prescribed Recruitment Fee is to be paid in the form of demand draft of any Nationalized Bank payable at Agartala in favour of the Secretary, T.P.S.C. The said demand draft is to be enclosed with the filled up application form with record in the specified Box on the 1st page of the Form.
(6). Rate of Recruitment Fees :- Group – A Posts :- Rs.200/= (Rupees Two Hundred ) only for General Candidates and Rs.150/= (Rupees One Hundred and fifty) only for ST/SC/ BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates.
(7). ST/SC Candidates of other States (not recognized by the Govt. of Tripura) should apply for unreserved vacancy as general candidate along with recruitment fee prescribed for general candidates.
(8) The applicants must be in possession of the prescribed minimum qualification(s) for the respective post(s) on the closing date for submission of application as mentioned in the advertisement.
The application in the prescribed form duly filled in by the candidate and 2(two) copies of recent stamp size photographs of the candidate affixed on the Application and Admit Card along with the copies of self attested certificates as noted in the application form is to be submitted.
(9). Other Important information:
Any application incomplete in any form or defective or containing statements which are incorrect or false or if there is any suppression of facts, are liable to be summarily rejected. No correspondence or queries from applicants will be entertained. Canvassing in any form will disqualify a candidate.
(10). The candidates are also required to attach to the application; a self-addressed Post-card indicating the Advertisement No., Item No. and name of the post applied for. Application will be acknowledged by the Commission by returning this card to the candidates after indicating the Registration No. allotted to the candidates. No separate acknowledgement other than this card will be sent to them.
(11). The decision of the Commission as to the eligibility or otherwise of a candidate at any stage of the selection process shall be the final.
(12). Date, time and venue of Screening Test / Interview of the eligible qualified candidates will be notified in due course.
