National Institute of Technology Agartala, an Institute of National importance, imparting quality technical education at UG and PG level, invites applications from Indian Nationals who are exceptionally bright, brilliant and motivated with a established record on Research & Development and committed to teaching/research for faculty position at the level of Professor, Assistant Professor and Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Humanities and Social Sciences, Civil, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical, Production and Transportation Engineering.

Professors of Central/State Government Institute who are on the verge of retirement or who have recently retired may also apply for the appointment.

Candidates who have submitted their thesis, or are likely to submit shortly, may also apply.

The pay package for all posts are guided by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India norms, which is under revision as per the Sixth Pay Commission’s recommendations. For deserving candidates, higher initial pay may be considered. Central Govt. reservation policy will be followed. The retirement age of faculty members is 65 years and may be extended upto 70 years.
